It’s time to spruce up the studio. It’s drab, it’s getting stale in here. I need to make this office more me, it feels like it’s boring and I want to add some more of my touches. Here’s a nice little round up of things I’ve been thinking about.

DIY Standing desk via Mint // DIY IKEA butcher block desk by Tom Geisler // Love this gold desk lamp that I saw on Oh Happy Day!; $49 // Some fun and bold pillows like the ones from BALlab // Succulent love designs; $52

I think it’s time for a stand-up desk. Sitting down kills my energy, my posture, and my workflow – time to try something a little different! Which one would you pick?

do you doodle ideas? because if you do, I find both desks a bit stretch… and you’d be facing the wall all the time… maybe shift the way they’re set up?

nice blog & work, first visit 🙂

Thanks Joanna, I will. It’s in the works! I was talking to my husband about building the stand-up desk last night, so it will be soon. I’ll keep you posted!

I’ve been thinking about a stand up desk too! Sitting so many hours a day doesn’t do me well on so many levels… let us know how it goes if that’s the direction you head!
