Live Pen Palette

I’ve had this bookmarked for some time but never thought to write a post about it until now. Zero-One Inc. a Russian company, which has produced a plug-in for Illustrator to help get rich typography and calligraphy named Live Pen. I’m not sure how it is since it is not yet available for the Mac, but it looks interesting! I will have to download the trial version on to my PC at home and give it a go. (Yes, I have a PC at home, back off!)

For those who develop or like to experiment with type or calligraphic forms, I think this could become extremely useful. And not only in type but also in line forms, illustrations and more!

On their product page they give some screen shots of how it could be used when creating type also seen in the images below.
